​A message from our president:

Hello! I’m Zen and I’m the president of Warwick Mixed Hockey Club. Mixed hockey has been part of my university life since I joined back in first year and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’ve met so many of my close friends through the multiple trainings and socials we have every week. I’ve been playing hockey for over 10 years now, and mixed has been the perfect place for me to develop my skills and play competitively whilst doing it in a fun environment.

We cater for all levels of hockey, from those who’ve played their whole life to those picking up a hockey stick for the first time at training! Throughout the year we play in a league against other universities, whilst also participating in the England Hockey Championship. We also host beginner friendly fixtures to give our newer players more experience as well as confidence to play competitively!

UWMXDHC is more to us than just hockey though, the club hosts and participates in numerous charity events throughout the year as well as local volunteering opportunities. Not only that but as one of the largest clubs on campus we host some of the best socials, including sober socials across the year, something you won’t want to miss out on!

​Mixed is truly a family to me and I’ve met some of my closest friends through the club and made the best memories. We’d love to have you as part of our family!
