 Today saw the very first UWMXDHC ladies v UWLHC match. We played 15 minute halves since the heat was so intense everyone playing was at severe risk of heat stroke. Mixed started off strong going 3-0 up in the first half. Our team was much stronger on the ball and worked as an effective unit despite the lack of experience together.
A close second half left the final score was 4-2 to us. A confidence-boosting win from our ladies, with goals from Ellen Percival(twice), Abi Parsons and Natasha McFann. Our Player of the Match was Ellen Percival, but well done to the whole team, especially given how bloody warm it was. A great result from the first Mixed vs Ladies match! Comments are closed.
